I own a 2001 290 sundancer that has been left quite abandoned for the last 3 years and it now I'm working on fixing it.

One of the issues is the AC Water recirculation pump is not turning on, so I have been trying to remove it to replace/fix it.

The problem is that I cannot figure out how to remove it, there are 4 phillips screws that hold it fixed in place, but 2 of them are in a place that is very hard to reach. Regular screwdrivers do not reach, so I tryed to make a tool to for this specific use, but it also did not work.

This is a photo of the screws I cant find a way to remove:

As you can see, the screws are behing the pump and there seems to be no space for any toll to work... I was wondering if there is another way to remove it.

Thanks in advance!

Those screws definitely look inaccessible.
Are you sure it’s not a bracket with the pump mounted to it?
Maybe the pump comes off the mounting bracket somehow?

Thanks, I did consider that the pump is somehow mounted into the mount, but I found no way to unmount it...

Here is a (not so good) video of how its mounted: https://photos.app.goo.gl/i6YeZn9KQppm7u3z7

If the pump is bad, just cut it off with a cutoff tool. Start over from there.

You can try a phillips bit in a 1/4 socket, you can tape it so it doesn't fall out. Use a long extension too. Good luck-----I also agree that a bracket likely comes off somehow to access the screws.

Any ideais on how to pump is fixed into the mount? I dont wanna cut it out because it may be reparable. I live in Brazil, so spare parts are not so easy to come by.
