It has 7.4 MPI’s and the port engine is running a little rough and rich at idle. I replaced the idle control exhaust sponge. I just installed a new iac on it today, all to have the same problem. When easing into the throttle throttle when out of gear, it starts jumping at the 900ish RPM range by about 200-300 RPM, then settles where it’s supposed to be. I have a new TPS on order so hopefully that will help. Not sure though. Everything above 1200RPM is completely fine and normal. The tranny has a chatter to it at idle and up through roughly 1200RPM. Then it also smoothed out and is very quiet. Other than the idle issue, the engine runs great.

Side note: I’ve replaced the plugs, wires, cap and button as well, all within the last 2 weeks. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Also, the throttle body was very dirty on the inside. It appears that someone removed the old idle control exhaust/breather and never replaced it. It’s very dirty inside there.

Did you have this problem before you replaced the "plugs, wires, cap and button"?

Yes, it was doing this before I replaced them.
