2000 DA Bed size

I want to buy a mattress topper for the v-berth, but I don't know how big to go so it fits when cut to shape. Will a queen work?
I know this has been covered elsewhere, but can't seem to find it.

I replaced the entire mattress in my travel trailer with that technique. I bought a Casper type full foam mattress, used an electric carving knife and cut it down to size. Best investment I have made in my travel trailer. Bed is great now.
I will be doing this in my 280 also.
