2000 380DA System Monitor, 454 MAG MPI, V-Drives

In the process of updating the original SR Systems Monitor to a simple LED light with alarm. I see my Hurth V-Drives have a transmission overheat sensor on them but I am not sure if it triggers an alarm thru the system monitor? I think it is "Normally Open" and I tried closing the circuit to trigger an alarm but unless I did it wrong, no alarm in the monitor.

The one wiring schematic that I found on line does show a lead for port and starboard transmission.

Can anyone tell me if in fact they will trigger an alarm and does anyone by chance have a wiring schematic particualr to this model/configuration?

Previous owner of mine overheated the port transmission, to the point where it had to replace, was told the alarm went off
