2000 340da navigational electronics upgrade

Has anyone upgraded their gps and charplotter devices on this year/model 340da? Is there a drop in replacement with newer models?

I just purchased the Raymarine 90W chartplotter with 3D cartography. I wanted the 120 but it would not fit-the 90W barely makes it. I bought it online at anchor express-shipped quick and the best prices. Just make sure you know the type of transducer you need, whether flush or regular mount. I already had a flush so we just switched it out. Good luck!

I have a 97 330, which has a helm layout very similar I think. I have a C80 that is not a drop in but its a pretty clean install. I think the 120 would fit too.

:smt038yes-i had a rl70c plus and upgraded to a c80 with some minor cutting of the dash to fit the c80,the c120 will not fit. also i had to upgrade the raydome and the sat.antenna to a raystar 125.the upgrade went well and works great with no problems, love that vector heading on the c80 !!

I agree on the C120 not fitting. I retract my prior comment. I looked a some dash photos and there is not much room around the C80.
