I helped a friend 'winterize' his 2000 340DA today. When we were finished, I went to lower the engine hatch and there was no response. I looked for a breaker or a reset button on the hatch lift motor with no success. Does anybody have any ideas? On the way up, it ran fine.

Checking the obvious, as part of the winterization did you disconnect or do something with the batteries?

Can you hear the motor if you push to up button (even though it's already up)? Or can you hear it even if there is no movement down?

Esteban - thanks for the response, but the basics were covered. We do a very cursory 'winterization' in TN. The batteries were not removed or disconnected. I suppose I need to get a meter and check power at the switch and then the motor, but the access to either required more time than I had yesterday. I was hoping someone might pipe in with the location of a breaker or fuse that I didn't know about.
