Hi all, me again. I think I have most of the issues with the AJ ironed out. I am down to 2 issues now.

- Hard steering. The boat would require both hands and whole lot of muscle to steer when I first got it. I disconnected the nut holding the steering cable to the ram and the wheel turned easy (didn't disconnect from ram, only the sheathing). Noted also that the power steering fluid was pretty nasty and brown. At that point I changed the PS pump. Steering got a lot better, but still not quite one-handed yet. Any ideas? Could some bad fluid still in the hydrolics be doing this? Cold weather?

- The Stbd motor runs real rough at times. Runs great above 1000 RPM but has a tough time idling without dying. After operating for awhile, it gets better and can idle, but not well. Filters, plugs, cap and rotor have all been changed. Can you adjust idle speed on an EFI motor? I thought timing and idle were computer controlled on these motors. The Port motor had a valve job and a head replaced a few ours ago. Haven't checked compression of the Stbd though. The mechanic who did the valve job on the Port motor said there wasn't anything wrong with the Stbd motor and that is just needed to be run. He scanned it and no codes came up either.

Well, what do you guys think?
