My freshwater pump is not working on my 2000 215 EC. I am trying to find a part number for a new pump...need help! Has anyone replaced their water pump?

Just changed mine out today, cleaned filter screen too. Works great. Need to buy about 1/2 inch longer mount screws and a couple 16-18 gauge electrical connectors (crimp with pliers). I also had to drill 2 new pilot holes in the mounting area because the new pump (although the same size) has a smaller mounting footprint. Be careful to use the existing 2 holes toward the engine so the water hoses line up. One more note - whoever installed the pump (Sea Ray I guess) used teflon tape. Shurflo says DO NOT use any types of tape, the fittings are designed to connect without it. Pump is SHURflo 3901-0216, 12 vdc, 3 GPM.

Do you also have a 215 EC ? The existing water pump looks like its mounted right to the holding tank.

on my 1998 215EC the pump is mounted on the wall in the floor compartment beside the water tank.....i have the optional transom sprayer so if your boat does not have this option the layout of the freshwater system could be a little different.....

in any event the pump should be very easy to get to and easy to replace....i replaced my pump a few years ago....i could not find the exact replacement pump so i just used a pump with a similar gpm rating and redrilled the mounting holes accordingly.....

I cannot upload an image...I just get a red exclamation point. The water pump is mounted right to the holding tank, with a tube running to the faucet in the berth. I could buy a pump as suggested, run a line from the tank to the pump and up to the faucet.
