2000 210 with a 5.0 305. After being out and running for while and then slowing down to no wake speed it will die and then I have to remove the fuel filter and put gas in it. I have checked everything I can see and can't see anything that would cause this. All lines and fittings seam to be good. Any ideas on this

There is a second screen under the fuel filter. It's a small flat screen that you pull out with a pair of pliers. Get a schematic of that fuel filter before you dive in though. I have a 2007 5.0 that is new to me last year and that thing was pretty dirty, it didn't cause running problems yet but I'm glad I changed both the fuel filter and that screen.
I also had a problem with my IAC (idle air control) valve that had to be replaced. The boat was hard to start without giving it extra throttle and this one if mpi. once started and going it would run well but coming off plane it would not idle.
Engine only had 112 hours on it last year.
