2000-2003 340 Sundancer DIESEL

These are not Cummins produced engines. I think the d-Tronic may have been an Isuzu/Merc product.

Great performers, a tad noisey at cruise speeds, not as efficient as one might think. Speeds and handling were about like any other 340DA's except a tad slower. (Based on one sterndrive model, inboards would be slower still) The D-tronic engines were not a popular option in the US due to initial cost and were never produced in enough numbers for there to be many parts anywhere on this side of the big pond for them.

Thanks fwebster! This looks to be a very rare boat. Any idea where I can scare up some performance numbers as there are obviously no owners here on CSR. Seems to be a good boat for my needs.

Go to your local Sea Ray dealer and talk to some one in sales. Sea Ray used to put out a salesman's handbook that contained some performance numbers..........but the numbers are from boat tests in very lightly loaded boats, so expect real world speeds and efficiency to be lower.
