Yup, I already asked, it will be done next week. If not ready by sea trial I will reschedule it.
I would request a copy of those prop scan reports (before and after) to be present at time of sea trial as to make sure the props have not been under pitched to make WOT yet mask another underlying problem.

Good point. How will I as a non prop expert know the difference by looking at the reports?

Please just make sure you have a window or vent in the front open and a panel on the aft off/open and maybe even the sides for ventilation. Definitely don't want anyone dying of carbon monoxide poisoning.

It may be a little chillier than you'd hoped for but much safer.

Agreed, I am not interested in dying from the station wagon effect :)

Where is the boat located?
Kent Island, MD

Holy S$&t what are you going
To do if the sale works out. Winterize it and leave it there or take it home?
Or is it not wintery there?

I am in Mi. So that’s where my thought process goes. We are 23 deg right now and snowing. Obviously you don’t have that weather.

It's been in the teens at night where the boat is slipped. I've asked the broker if it's winterized as when I inspected the boat a few weeks ago there was a power chord going into the engine compart with a heater. He said the heater, and the seller winterized the fresh water systems. I asked about the AC and other systems and never got a reply. I reminded him the seller is accountable for this until I take possession/close.

I plan to leave the boat there, at a minimum, until the end of March, probably into April. That gives me time to do some of, maybe all of, the service, and get to know the boat better.

Ouch!
19deg is pretty cold! It gets above freezing during the day I hope.
Freezing and expanding moisture in the Hull would not be good I would think. Hopefully the Surveyor found no moisture. Of course this is coming from a guy who stores his in a heating building.
Good luck with the sea trial and purchase.
You have been looking for a while.

No moisture found during hull survey. Yes, it has been getting above freezing during the day.

I WISH they had indoor heated storage here. Indoor yes (for boats under 35' at my last marina), heated no.

Nice!!
The video showed the dash,
That looks like a cover for a newer Raymarine Chartplotter. It definitely is not original.

Send more pics and videos as you get them.

Broker wanted to postpone sea trial because of weather. So we're doing it this coming Friday. Makes me wonder if something is up because the weather wasn't that bad.
