:smt100:smt100Trying to replace base plate under helm seat, previous owner did not lube so all glider functions frozen. I cannot get the four machine screws holding the base plate to the bottom of the seat to budge. Tried Liquid Wrench, vise-grips, impact driver - nothing. Boatyard mechanic even broke the head of his hardened Philips screwdriver off in the slot. Any hints/tips/suggestions would be much appreciated!
