pachanga 19
Engines
350 mag with alpa 1
new to boating this year have a 1988 pachanga. i am getting about 2" of water last 2 times out. i have the muffled exhaust with the holding tanks and i think 1 might be leaking or any suggetions on what else it could be?

It is either the bellows or a leak in the exhast canisters. This is not typical.

Also, the transom seal may be leaking.

Here’s a test to see if this is going to be another dead end post from another first time poster.

What year is your boat? Add this info to your boat profile!

He did.... 1988 pachanga

With the engines running inspect the engine compartment and look for leaks... If you have mirrors or a borsecope video/camera it will help... You can get a cheap borescope video at harbor frieght.

jv II is the alpha not common with these boats? thanks for all the input everybody and the negativity bonbini!!!! i'll try to look into all these suggestions.

tslty - notice the "quote" section in JV's post. He was responding to an earlier comment on rudder shafts. Which your boat does not have.

As a side note, you have a reply from fwebster. Take note of post made by the members that have the "Technical Contributor" logo next to their name. Its hard to come by more valuable reading.

Anyhow - Welcome to CSR!
