1st outing on my 95 Sea Ray 195BR 5 Series

So I took her out for the first time this weekend. I went to Beltzville lake in PA. Everything went well! No errant water anywhere, weather was beautiful, getting her in and out of the water at the ramp went well, I learned how much trim can affect forward momentum, flooded the carburetor once (my fault), had an absolute BLAST!!


Quick questions

1) When one trims the outdrive up it has a limiter that turns the power to the system off automatically when it reaches a certain height, there does not seem to be an auto shutoff while trimming down, is that normal?

Normal indeed. The trim limit switch prevents you from trimming the drive all the way up into trailer position while running the boat. All of the way down is not a problem.
