Hello all,
I have sold my 2002 Sundancer 280 last week since the blonde and I decided we need to cut down our expenses (indoor marina, insurance etc). Plus, it helped that I was able to get exactly what I wanted for it.

now I'm looking at a temp boat and found this 99 Sundeck 190 which caught my attention.
it is bottom painted and has a Mercury 150hp 2-stroke outboard.
i want an outboard so I can leave it in the water for a week's time without worrying about corrosion.

boat has under 200 hours.

it needs cosmetic work (all cushions need upholstered) and everything else I can do (clean, buff, wax etc).

if seller accepts my offer I will have paid $8,000 for boat + tandem axle trailer.

is there anything specific about the SD190 that I need to be aware of?
thoughts on setup, price, work needed?

thanks in advance, and looking forward to hearing from you!

The Sundeck is a nice boat with good use of interior space. The main concern would be making sure the motor is in good shape. Replacing an 150hp outboard is not cheap and would cost you as much as your about to pay for the boat to replace.

Thanks a lot! I have decided against this one since it needs too much work on the cosmetics dept.
i'll keep looking for a Sundeck 190 in the $10k range for now.

thanks again,
aldo
