1999 Sundancer Fuel Sending Unit

Hello Everyone

I just purchased a 1999 400 Sundancer with CAT engines. The Starboard fuel sending unit has gone and i cant find the unit on the tank as there is not much space to visually inspect or service the system.

I did trouble shoot the gauges on the dash, and the fuel sending unit on the port side to ensure my testing of the starboard system was done correct. After these tests were completed it is determined that the starboard side gauge checks serviceable, and the sending unit on the starboard system is unserviceable. i need to find a way to locate the starboard sending unit or an access panel so i can replace the part, anyone been through this before ?

Lower salon, stbd ledge has a removable panel. Fuel sender is toward the rear of that opening.

Your post is a few months old. I need to replace the same sender. Have you made progress?

Suggest replacing with MOELLER style magnetic units.
