1999 Sundancer 310DA Road transport from Alexandria Va to Tampa Fl

We have a 1999 Sundancer 310DA currently at the Ft Belvoir, Va, marina (Alexandria, VA, just south of D.C.). Uncle Sam sent us to Tampa not too long ago and relocating it via cruising was not in the cards time-wise, or gas cost.

Seeking any and all leads on any firm or experienced individual that will truck this boat to Tampa. It's roughly 900 road miles. Travel lift on site. I don't own a trailer and my 2005 Ram 1500 is not ideal for towing and we don't own a trailer. If any reader knows of someone experienced who has a trailer and can get it down here, please sound off. I just drove up there this weekend and winterized the boat, but we need to get it down here since it has been just sitting for six months. Unless someone reading this is in that area seeking such a boat...

greg at aquatoys is great -he is out of merrit island - or try uship - spring is also a great time to move in that direction as a lot of truckers are looking for back hauls

Check with marinas on both ends for recommendations. They deal with this all the time. U-ship can be very iffy.
