1999 Sundancer 270 cockpit lighting

Planning on replacing/upgrading the cockpit lights and had a question on the wiring. Had a sub placed where one of the lights was previously located near the floor by drivers feet. Looking at the old wiring from the light, it looks like the other lights were all spliced together. It appears to be the original wires/wiring, just wanted to make sure it would be ok to have 4 new ones wired the same way or if they needed to be done seperate from eachother. Hopefully I made this question clear and have not created confussion!
