1998 Sea Ray Sundacer 330 Hatch Lift Assembly

The Hatch lift assembly on my 98 Sea-Ray 330 is not functioning. I'm not sure if its a fuse, breaker or assembly issue.
Dose anyone know if there are any fuses or breakers associated with the hatch lift? Are hatch lift motors or assemblies known to go bad.

The motors don't often go bad, it's usually a dead battery or bad connection somewhere.

A couple of things to try:

1. Get one of those battery chargers that plugs into your cigarette lighter/charger socket and charge up the batts.

2. Pull out one of the access ports (round or oblong pieces in the hatch) then reach in and remove the retaining pin that holds the ram to the fitting on the underside of the hatch. Then you can lift the hatch manually. It's a beatch because it's heavy, and have a couple of pieces of 2x4 available to prop it up.

Is there an electrical interlock on the Transom Door that disables the hatch lift when the door is not completely open?
