1998 370DA or 2001 380DA?

These are my 98' 370 motors. Good or bad exhaust?

Appears to be a log setup but it’s tough to tell without seeing all the way to the stern.

One thing is for sure…..you could transport illegals in that ER. That’s a gymnasium compared to mine!!

Waterlifts would be right behind the engine so likely logs. But I don't think the 370s had any problems so I don't think you need to worry.

Thanks for posting the pictures. They really cleared things up for me.
So, if looking at 380's, generally speaking, 2002 would start the sweet spot.

Our last boat was a 370 and they definitely had water ingestion problems. We boat the bot we did because the engines had been replaced due to water ingestion and the new style exhaust was added when the engines were replaced. I would definitely look for a boat with the lift mufflers or plan on making this change as soon as you get the boat and hope no damage has been done.
