I just bought new dash panels for myself for christmas. I know a lot of people have changed them and was looking for what to expect. does anyone know where i can get my hands on a wire diagram ( just incase other hands have been in there) Thanks

The SeaRay owner's manual should contain this information. If you don't have copies of the manual and parts book, read the stickie in the General Discussion Forum on Owner's Manuals for more info on downloading copies.

I changed mine a few years back on my '95 and it was not that difficult but it was time consuming. If doing it now, in the cold weather, be carefull removing and installing the panels from the dash, they are a tight fit and some flexing of the panels is neccessary. Cold=brittle.
The rubber grommets at each fastener hole were taped to the "inner lip" of the mounting surface of the dash with masking tape. The tape had deteriorated with age and a few of the grommets fell free when removing the old panels. Be aware of it and it's no problem to avoid losing them down dehind the helm.
I took some digital photos of the gauge backs showing where all those wires go, and also tagged the leads with masking tape as to where they go.
The results were well worth the cost and effort, good luck.
Happy New Year
