1998 310 interior layout

Huge difference between the interior of a 98 310 vs 99-2002. Does anyone see any stong disadvantages of the 1998 layout? Pros / Cons of each interior would be greatly appreciated.

Having to climb over the seat to access the V berth is pretty much a deal breaker for me.
Most probably know this but... The 99 (&up), offers either the booth style or the couch & table as opposed to the table with surrounding seat.

The "climb over " may be a deal breaker for some, but a definite pro for me is the 8 and 11 year old get their private "stateroom" in the aft cabin. I put a 19" LCD with DVD in there and they go back in their stateroom and chill.... They do this during the day when we are out on the water or just hanging out at the dock..... Love the layout of the 98 and that was one of the reasons I purchased one...

Hey if any of you 1998 guys need carpet runners, I have a new set from Great Lakes that I purchased off eBay. The set was supposed to fit my 2000, but when it arrived it was for a 1998 or early 1999 with the aft stateroom. PM me if interested, I can email pictures. I'll let the set go cheap!

Agree. Climbing over the seat is no big deal. Not like you do 10 times per day. The unique layout with the privacy door to the aft cabin, the nice curved table, and double doors to the head sold us on the layout. You can get more people around the curved seating than a booth style table.

The "changing room" just before the aft bed is a nice feature as well. Many of our guests use this to slip into suits.

This unique layout is one reason I wanted the 98.
