I just bought this boat and I got the converter to plug the shore power into the 110v at the house in the driveway. I checked the breaker by the plug and also checked the main station in the cabin. There is only power to the boat with the battery switched turned on. Even when the switches are turned on the on-board charger does not turn on either. Any tips what the problem might be??

Next to the bat selector there should be a main switch board that prevents you from running off cert ain breakers. C if the is a converter or batt charger switch. If so make sure it didn't blow.

Ok im really trying to remeber if my charger shut off with a breaker in the cabin. Im leaning towards it did. I think it was under a switch labeled converter or accessory.

There is a breaker in the cabin marked converter. You will also need to have the breaker that says outlets turned on to run any of the 110 in the cabin. All 12volt lights come from the batteries whether or not you are plugged in. Just needto have the battery switch on.

Just to be sure is the plug wired from the house to the boat wired correctly? In other words power, neutral ,and ground mustbe in the same orientation as the boats. Probably should have popped a breaker though if it is not.

I have got the boat figured out now i think. Dito to the last post lights only run through the 12volt system and the stereo. Did have to have the converter on the have the on board charger running. All is well now. Thanks for the help.

There is 1 110v light over the galley. That fixture is a combo 12v/110v. Hence the 2 switches at the galley. The 110v bulb is some weird euro base. Can't remember the correct size... E12? Maybe?
