1998 210 Sundeck - Add Wake Tower

Looking for some input on adding a wake tower to a 1998 Sundeck 210.

Is this possible? Anyone done this modification? I'm sure I am going to have to add some additional backing where the supports mount, so I'm hoping someone has already done this and can help with some information.

I'm looking at purchasing the Monster Tower MKE.

Clacquam: I have been considering something similar for our 2000 210SD. I had the opportunity to purchase a used XTP package for a later model (8'-6" beam), but it did not include all the mounting hardware. XTP Xtreme will not sell mounting hardware without extensive proof that tower is compatable with your boat. So I let that one go. You will notice the same Sea Ray / XTP tower for sale for over a year on ebay - Greatlakesskipper. FYI - I have included a few photos I have collected from craigslist, manufacturers, etc. If I wanted to proceed today, I would choose either the Samson Saber tower or the Taylor tower. I like the style of the 'simple' rear swept OEM style (XTP style), and I want to keep our OEM bimini. Samson is extremely helpful and reasonable. Taylor Tower not so helpful, and extremely expensive. Hope this helps. As far as reinforcement, your boat does not have the OEM reinforcement, but it is done all the time on various similar boats. The Samson kit includes all needed reinforcements and hardware. I am not sure about the Monster kits, because I never could fit a Monster model with our OEM bimini.
