The port handle, at just about any speed, won't stay in position. After just a few minutes it drops down to idle. Can anyone tell me what the fix is? Thanks. JS

There is a friction adjustment under the cover plate on top of the panel. Remove the cover and there are several adjusting screws visible.....be sure you know which one to tighten since the others have to do with idle stop and WOT travel. Look in your owners packet for the Teleflex manual or you might try looking on their website for instructions........here:

I still am being frustrated. I can't find my throttle info on the web. Of course I have all sorts of manuals and guides on almost every other system on the boat, but not the throttle!
I'm taking Frank's advice and not messing with the screws 'til I know which ones do what.

Try this:

Go down to mechanical single action controls, then select the first box for CH4400 series. This open a PDF file for the installation instructions for the controls.

Look for figure 3 ...........screw "B" in the center of the control on the top after you remove the bezel is the one you want.

Y'all want me to send you a screw driver too..........!

By the way, a little friction goes a long way on the controls so don't over do it.

YES! And I need a kick in the ass to get started. Thanks, JS
