I have a 1996 Sundancer 300 and have found that when it rains, water enters through the side bilge vents into the bilge. Does anyone know if there is a fix like a deflector of some sort or an aftermarket vent cover that can be purchased? Thanks all, Kurt

Many of us have the same issue, after all the snow and rain this past winter even my vent tube was full of water. I don't think any of us have found that one great fix. My slip neighbor is working to help me build a stainless steel rain diverter to be installed above the vents. It's unknown if it will even work. I removed mine and sealed them to the outside of the hull, then sealed the blackbox using a double sided thin foam insulation over the winter. This is still untested but seems to be working so far. It is the one issue that I've never been able to figure out

Thanks for your reply dwna1a and great information, sure appreciate it! I was thinking of the same, but was hoping for an after market device, that could be purchased. Thanks again, hope you have many wonderful cruises ahead!
