My microwave is dead. Does anyone know where to get a replacement (other than Sea Ray)? Looking for a microwave/convecgtion oven that fits in the existing space. If not can anyone advise on how they modified the space for a bigger unit? Thanks.

I have the same issue. What did you end up doing with your microwave

I don't think you're goung to get a reply from him. He hasn't been on this forum in 4 1/2 years!

I have gone through the same thing.
My solution at first was to find one that was close and cut the opening bigger. Since then I visited all the places that sell microwaves. Walmart has one that will fit if I take off the rubber feet. It is the correct height but 1.25" narrower.
I had a lot of help from people on this site on how to cut the opening bigger. The main suggestion was make a template the size you want and use a laminate cutting bit on a router. I have not got my $70 Walmart microwave still debating weather to cut or go with a space on the side. Need to decide soon as it is a winter project.
There were some microwaves that were slightly bigger but the inside was the same as the $70 one at Walmart.

Replaced mine with an almost same unit and bought it off of Amazon... Minor adjustments were needed because of the pattern on the bottom of the unit.
