I have recently purchased a Sea Ray 440 and I am working through a list of items from the survey. This has brought up two questions that need some knowledgeable guidance on.

Item 1 - the front mounted spot/flood light does not work at present. I believe the light is controlled from an ACR Electronics URC-100 control pad at the helm. (see picture). The control panel has power button in the lower right corner with an LED. I cannot get the LED to come on at all. Is there another switch somewhere that needs to be turned on?

Item 2 - the boat has three TV's, one in the front cabin, one in the salon, one mounted on the arch in the back. The front cabin unit works fine. The other two do not power on at all even with all the 120V breakers turned on. Again is there something I am missing or do I need to go trace out the power cables?

Thanks much,

Not sure about your tv issue. However, my spotlight failed during the survey also, but later we found out you have to have the engines or at least both keys on for it to work. It was wired this way from the factory as to not run down the batteries if left on accidently. Worth a try!

Great suggestion - I have not tried that configuration. I will give it a try this week.

Our broker had to pay his mechanic to check the boat and then tell us it was fine. I would have never guessed it.

Thanks much,
check the GFCI outlets for the TV issue. should be one in the kitchen and bathroom. I also have one in my cockpit

Isn't there a helm switch to turn on the spot light? Mine says "SPOTLIGHT". Also there will be a fuse or circuit breaker for it under the helm. Mine is a 15 amp push-button circuit breaker.

As previously stated above:
1) Circuit breaker/fuse located in the helm area
2) I bet you a dollar it is a popped GFIC outlet

Thanks for all the suggestions. Tried the keys on and even engine running, still no light on the spotlight control panel or spotlight itself.

I have reset all of the GFCI's that I have found (one kitchen area, one bathroom area). Have not located one in the cockpit.

Will continue testing this weekend and report back any changes.
