Hey Folks, long time lurker here. Have a recently acquired 1993 Sea Ray 370 Express Cruiser. I am trying to gain access to the main cabin door lower rollers. Google searches have come up empty for me. I removed the breaker panel inside the galley to see if I could gain access but it definitely seems as though the fiberglass panel will need to be removed from the cockpit side. I see a bead of silicone that runs along with outside of this large panel but no screws that I can see. Has anyone attempted this before? This isn't my boat, but a photo I found online. The panel in front of where the sliding cabin door would be in the open position. It houses a couple of cup holders and the foot rest on the bottom. I assume this must come off to gain access to the lower roller?

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Well, I actually got the door removed. I was actually able to pry it out without even taking off the foot rest cover assembly. Just unscrewed the 3 screws from the bottom train on the door and 4 screws at the top two trucks and it came out rather easily.

I actually needed to remove it to fit my new fridge. Fridge is now down below but now has caused an additional project. I need to replace the trucks. They are all torn apart and new this was going to be a winter project. Might as well get it done now. I ordered a new kit from FP Marine and should have it in next week. I still need to remove the foot rest cover assembly to replace the tracks. I feel better about getting the cover off. I found three screws that hold the lower part of the cover in the bilge. I've also found a very large screw on the left side of the cover that has a nut that is accessible actually through the electrical panel. There are also 5 screws that hold the top of the cover in place and are accessible through the interior kitchen light once it's removed.

I'll keep everyone updated as this may help someone else in the future for this repair.

Thanks,
AJ

We have basically the same boat so I am interested how you got that door out and how you are replacing the tracks.

When my Norcold failed I ended up going with an Isotherm unit that was almost a direct fit. Getting the Norcold out was easier than getting the Isotherm in. In the end, I did not have to remove the cabin door but I did have to loosen the compressor on the Isotherm and swing it carefully out of the way to get the unit through the opening. Since the Isotherm was deeper.....I also lost the wine rack built into the sink top.

Please post how the door track project progresses.
