1993 270 Weekender

If anyone in the Kentucky area knows of someone looking for a good condition Sea Ray 270 Weekender mine is for sale until the end of next week when I trade it in. I will sell for the trade in value of 9900. it is listed on ebay at 9900 no reserve but would rather sell outright.
I would need payment before I go to pickup the other boat. A 2001 Karavan trailer is included.
Not sure if it is ok to post this here if not please delete just trying to help someone get a good deal before trade in.

I have been look at this model of boat..We primalrily boat on Lake Erie...what would be you honest opinion of how this boat handles choppy, rough water. I currently have a 220cc and it does pretty good for me but my wife have another opinion...we all know how that goes!

Love my 270 WE, All the boating here is off shore and handles it fantastic. She is out of the water for a re-power, a 383 cid stroker going in, the 5.7L was a bit under power.

I would say that it would handle it fine. Mine had the 7.4L. Plenty of power. I boated it in the Potomac river/Chesapeake last summer (end of May) and it handled it fine. Some of the days were rough but the boat kept us fairly dry.

I think the hull is similar to the 270DA - if so, my 96 handles the ocean and bay chop pretty well. If the waves and wind are timed just right we will get some water across the windshield but it's pretty rare. Most of the time I slow way down so the boat and passengers aren't getting beat up. I boat out of Oregon Inlet in NC which is known for being a rough channel and also go up to Chesapeake Bay in the Norfolk/Portsmouth area.

How would this boat fish? We troll almost exclusively with 6 rods.
