I have to assume you mean 7.4.The fuel pump and sea-water pump are on the same bracket and there is no oil line anywhere near it.

There is a oil resevoir for the cam that drives the fuel pump.

Yes you need to check and maintain oil in that housing. It should be changed when you change the engine's oil. Failure to do that will result in something bad happening.
