1992 300 sundancer add air conditioning?

    t/ 350 merc's (carburated) alpha drives gen II
    Has anyone installed ac on this vintage boat?
    Was thinking of adding for next season.
    Good, bad and biggest issues

    Rob,

    We had AC on our 280, that’s pretty close to a 300 in terms of layout and cabin air volume. Our Ac unit was a one piece affair about the size of a similarly btu rated window unit. It was located under one of the galley table benches with a return air vent cut in the bench box. So if it’s do able in a smaller 280, it seems that it is more than possible for a larger 90s 300. Besides going to the 300 thread try and get a copy of the users/owners supplement for a 90s 300. That may give you a better idea of what was done.
