Looking for some advice on adding a swim platform. I like the top mount style. Looks more original to me.
I'm looking for some contact info for some quotes.

[h=3]Look no further. They are the Masters of the Universe at this game.[/h][h=3]Swim Platforms Inc.ww.swimplatforms.com/[/h]

Specializes in made to order extended swim platforms for Sea Ray, Maxum, Chaparral and Bayliner boats.

I have contacted them and their products look amazing. I was wondering if there are any others before I commit.
Thx for the quick response.

A friend has the same boat and his swim platform area is so thin on glass that it flexes when it is walked on. There is no structure of any kind in there. Look with light and you will see no plywood or any thing to hold or bolt a platform on to. It is a open cavity only way would be if you go down lower on transom.

I'm sure if SwimPlatforms.com makes one it's well engineered, their product is great. I wouldn't even bother to look elsewhere.

There have been a few stories on here of guys who went with platforms for "other" companies. There stories were more like nightmares and they all ended up at Swimplatforms, Inc. Scott Samuelson is the owner and a former Sea Ray factory employee. I have purchased their products and I would do so again. I have also toured there facility in Phoenix. Everything is first rate and they still understand what Customer Service means.

If you are serious about an extended platform, do yourself a favor and just order it from them. Don't even look around. Be sure and tell Scott that you are a ClubSeaRay member. They are a supporter and advertiser.

Thank you all for the help. I've heard nothing but good things about Swimplatforms Inc. And thank you Norcal for the tip. I'll definitely mention this site.

I got one from swim platforms last year for my 270. perfect fit. great workmanship. very strong. received when promised. I would highly recommend.

Did you install it yourself?

Installing it yourself depends on a few things. On my 340 the support brackets are below the water line and so I had to haul the boat. The yard I used does not allow DYI. If you are going with a top mounted does it have supports below? If not I see no reason to not install it yourself....That is if you are comfortable drilling holes in a perfectly good boat.

I put a top mount from swimplatform .com on a 1995 290 dancer it added a lot of useable space also made selling the boat a lot easier. Installation took me about 3 hrs with 2 people

I got mine from swim platform superstore. you can pick the size you want and all types of options.

It was cheaper/bigger/and better customer service than swimplatform.com. I would do business with them again

Sounds like a great deal. I'll check the Swim Platform Super Store before I make the purchase. Thanks again for all the help. I feel much better about doing the install.

i believe the guys at swim platforms are ex searay guys? they have all the factory patterns for the antislip and they match the colours perfectly. I put one on my boat, and ive never looked back. Only regret is that it didnt do it sooner.. The kit comes with everything required, and in my case it sits on top of the existing deck, which was handy as i had a rear rail that i removed so it covered those holes. Well worth the investment
