1991 220 da

Hey everybody. I am new here and just acquired a 1991 220 DA. I am so far happy. I do need a couple of things though. Does anyone know where I can get replacement seats or possibly affordable material that can be used. It's my first boat and I have yet to take it out by myself. Also, I only have a 60 gallon fuel tank, Why only 60? and can I replace it for a larger one. It is in great condition and the engine is like new, not original. The interior is in very good although I need to replace the water heater. I know it sounds like much but i got it for a song. I am taking baby steps and would appreciate the input.

Welcome. I had a '90 220da and loved it. It would be a hell of a job to pull that tank and replace it. What kind of motor do you have in it ? I did a lot of customization to mine .Here is a few pics of mine along with a link to a long thread about the 220da.(below the pics)

Welcome. Congrats on the boat. I think you'll find the 60gallon tank plenty for a day or weekend's use. Anything more and I think you would be adding too much weight. A gallon of fuel weighs around 7 lbs. If you add another 20 gallons, that would be an additional Women aboard.
Also one thing that is nice online here is if everyone puts their boats info in their signature. (See UserCP)

Thank you for welcoming me. I have a Mercuiser 5.7 250hp. I am excited about it and cannot wait to get it out. As I wrote the seats need work. Your boat is identical to mine, just in a little better shape. Do you have any tips on how to restore her or where I can get upholstery, dash parts? I will be posting more info and pics as I go along. Thanks again
