1990/91 310 Sundancer vs 1992+ 330 Sundancer

I wanted to update my thread, it has been about a year since taking owner ship of SeaHorse and she is back on the hard for winter. All systems are winterized and shrink wrap will go on any day.

All in all she ran great, I have fixed most of the little stuff needing to be addressed and everything is operational to satisfy my OCD for the moment.

One of the items that needs to be address is the broken through hull fitting for the AC systems, which is stuck in the closed position. As mentioned above the Groco valve service parts are NLA, but I lucked out and found a NOS valve with the parts needed to fix the one in the boat. This makes the repair a 15 min deal. The next big item on my list is the Vacflush system, it basically works however the system has 2 issues, the vacuum pump runs every 45 seconds if the system is left on, and the 2nd is when my wife sits on the bowl it leaks from between the base and the floor. I would assume both issues are related. I will start by removing the toilet, gross!!!!! Additionally I plan I will be updating the stereo, and new faria gauges. I got a used set for free and bought a new set, I have 2 speedometers that I will not be using if anybody wants them.

Other than that there are a couple of bigger project such as the starboard side gunnel panel is rotted where the pressure regulator and deck spigot are. The problem is the entire (very large and heavy looking) helm seat need to be removed to get this panel out for proper repair. We shall see. LOL. I would also like to start recovering some of the interior but this depends on time and money. Besides my wife already has a mile long list of household honey do projects for me. But I just want to play with boats not houses.

Have a great day

"But I just want to play with boats not houses."...Me too!

Ordered replacement dash panels from FP Marine so I can start my electronics refit within the next week or two. They precut and predrilled the panel for my SIMRAD NSS12 evo3 chart plotter - picture below is an example from their website of what the panels look like. Ordered LED backlighting kit to go with it. I'm in no rush to do switch panel and gauge panel but I needed a solution to cover holes from the old Raytheon instruments below the switch panel when I install the 12" chart plotter. One project at a time!

The previous owner of mine switched out the icemaker for a fridge under the bar, ill just use a portable ice maker. My water heater is shot too, gotta change that, plus he removed the cooktop in the galley, the admiral wants one so.......

The boat is in good shape, but ill be doing extensive renovations and upgrades. Ill be starting a restoration thread over there soon. May mirror some of it here.

We can help each other im sure since our boats are basically the same.
Yea the cooktop in my 350da is the only thing that fits the cut out I looked on and off for 3 years online to find a used one and had it completely rebuilt by the oem. PITA but galley works correctly now.

We are attempting to find a new deck plate. From our search everything we're finding is either smaller or larger than we need. Is there a secret parts supplier that you can send my way? If possible we're attempting to not make the hole bigger. Advice? Thanks!
