assuming the deck is a balsa cored layup, does anyone know the thickness of the balsa?
boat is hours away and I am gathering materials to repair an area under the horns

I can't help with the thickness, but it is installed "end grain" so you can cut the stock lengthwise to the thickness you need and lay in all of the pieces to fill the space. Or are you buying the premade core panels?

plan was to buy premade panels, the area I need to fix is about 18" x 30"

My deck core was 3/8 balsa just in case anyone else goes looking for the info
