1990 270da ...no dash lights

I noticed today that I have no dash lights, boats new to me but I do recall having dash lights last year when I had it out .
I see no switch for them, anyone familiar with the operation of them?
I must be overlooking something?

Ours had a dimmer dial switch on the right side of the dash. I'd start withthe that.
