1989 Weekender Wiring Nightmare

You got an old boat, who knows what has happened over the years. Your going to have to start over.

Post up some pics of the engine room and dash

Alright, so the past couple days I've been able to spend a couple hours on the boat. What I've gathered is that the fuse panel and bus that powers the accessories have so much corrosion, I was getting less than 7V out of some of the out going wires. Slowly replacing wiring and getting power up and running (and finding out what accessories are actually fried, so far Forward Pump, left and right motor of the search light, and one bilge pump). We bought a new forward/shower pump and after wiring it up, I still had no power. After tracing wires, I found the resistance point being this box in the attached picture. At first I thought it was relay, but there was only 2 wires, it also seems to be some sort of solid state breaker maybe? But it's on the ground circuit. Can anyone identify this part so I can find a replacement? It was screwed on the inside panel to the upper left of the fuses inside the helm. One of the wires goes to one of the 3 going to the forward pump, and the other wire goes to the a ground bus/block. Thank you all for the assist.

High water bilge pump alarm/buzzer.

Looks that way. Lift the float switch that the brown wire comes from (assuming you have power to the bilge pump/switch to start with) and it should "alarm".

Give it 12V to see if it (and it's ground) works. If nothing, give it 12V and a known good ground to test it.

This shouldn't affect anything working/not working, though.

Thanks for the quick identification! I'll shoot 12v through it and see what happens.
