First time with a Sea Ray.

Inside the cabin is water near the stairs in front of the shower bilge. There is a small rectangular aluminum sump about the size of a brick that the water would accumulate even after draining. The carpet is also wet in that area.

I think I found the source... There are 3 thru-hull fitting on the starboard side of the boat about mid ship. The fitting most forward is just a hole in the side.
What was to drain connected to?
How do I get inside to repair this?
should I just put a cork in it?
See pics.

Welcome to CSR!

Here is a link to the Sea Ray owner's resources. You'll need to complete the form at the bottom of the page to get your owners manual. It will show you what plumbing was connected to that thru-hull fitting.

I'd definitely want it capped off on the inside properly if it's not being used. It's possible that over time the fitting cracked and there is a hose with the broken piece laying in the bilge.

Thanks for the reply...
Please resend the link for the download.

The manual that I previously downloaded only indicates that there are thru hull fitting. It does not show the interior plumbing that is connected.

I am hoping someone that has the same model year boat can tell me what the hole drains.

I am not sure that I can access this area from the inside of the boat.
How can I seal this from the outside?

Michael

Found access from the aft cabin. There is a panel that accesses under the sink. The thru hull's fitting are for the waste pump, foward bilge and sink drain.
