Sea RAY 220 restoration in progress
I have been working to remove all the rotten wood under the fiberglass and have now unearthed the petrol tank. This is aluminum but has cleaned up well, it has some deep corrosion in places but is not leaking, my plan is to clean, etch prime and coal tar epoxy paint the tank before replacing------any advice on correct way to go would help, what’s the best way to treat the tank. What etch primer would be suitable for both Aluminum and coal tar epoxy.
I have also been trying to locate the bilge pump, is it hidden somewhere out of sight??
