1989 390 Express Cruiser

Interested in a 390 EC. Any opinions out there. It’s a fresh water boat with 454’s. We will be using as a weekend getaway at the lake. Cove tie ups and dinner runs around the lake. Have friends etc. Relaxing not worried about speed.

It’s a tank and built to last.

I have a 36 footer a bit older and it’s easy to fix, parts are cheap and plentiful.

Fresh water tank leaks can be a common problem and the head will probably give you a hard time initially but the folks here are a font of info and always willing to help.

NADA is lose to 45K

NADA values for boats have been discussed here before and the general feeling is that they’re not reliable from a buyer’s standpoint.

The good news is that lenders take it seriously. It’s a common boat so there’s plenty of them for sale.

See how they’re priced or more importantly what they’re selling for. You’ll find that info and NADA may not coincide.

Buletrws, We had and 88 or 89 back in the mid 90's on Lake of the Ozarks. Great boats! we used it just like you will. Big cockpit party area. Had big block gassers in it and never had any problems. Enjoy!
