1989 39 searay window leaks

!989 39' searay express all of my side windows are leaking. Does anyone have some sound advice for this project> Thanks

Remove, re-bed and re-install.

Use Sikaflex UV 295 to re-bed the plexi to the frame and 3m 4200/5200 or some prefer Boatlife life-calk to seal to the frame to the boat. Make sure everything is as clean as it gets and let it cure a couple of days then re-install.

Havent gotten to it yet but went down this morning after a massive rain storm to find my front bedroom bed soaked.
The hatch is dry and so is the carpet on the ceiling.
This one is a mystery.
Anyone run into this before?

That's common. Ceiling's and vertical surfaces dry out quickly. Use a hose to find the leak(s). Sometimes there are tell tale stains.

Cant find a photo of a 89 but this is a 90 I assume similar V berth with the port holes on the hull side?

Water leaks are tricky to track down. water will flow down but on its way down it may run horizontal many feet before it shows itself.

The port holes are the most common issue as mentioned all hatches and ports need re bedding every 10 years +/-. Sea Ray, and most makes, use a vynal covering with an open cell foam backing. Water can leak in behind the cover, run down thru the foam and not appear until it gets to the bottom. Take up the bedding and see if the covering ends at the V berth. That is likely where the water is getting to the bedding.

Its very common with the Taylor windows. The topside flexes, window frames don’t. Its the reason SR finally went to port holes instead of the sliders.
Rebed as other say and good for another 20 30 years.
I went the cheapo route on my last one. Instead of pulling windows and rebedding, i just put caulk all around the frame. Top and bottom, it wasn’t factory pretty but it sealed fine. Clean surface very well first.

Don't forget to check the hull to deck joint, they can cause the same issues you mention.
