Does anybody with this same boat have the original prop specs? I left the manual on the boat and want to order a prop. I 'THINK' they were 15x19 but I don't want to trust memory. I'd like to get the prop prior to my next trip to the boat so I can splash when I get down.
Thanks
BTW Merc 5.7's Alpha one Gen one drives.

OK answered my own question I think. I searched and found a reply I made to someone about four years ago, seems I said I have 14.5x19 Aluminum props. See what I mean about trusting memory!
If anyone has any other prop sizes they like on this boat, please let me know. I'm doing the counter rotating lower and for now am going to just match the existing prop and see how she performs. I'm wanting to go to four blades eventually but time and funds are getting short so time to bite the bullet and start this season.

I've been using 15.5X17 Stainless props for the last few years and they were a huge improvement over the 14.5X19 aluminums I had before.
Boat used to be a real pig when it came to getting on plane, now it jumps up.

Have any of you tried 3-blade stainless versus 4-blade aluminum? It looks like most of the SS folks here swapped 3-blade aluminums with 3-blade stainless.

I'm curious about how the 4-blade "Alpha-4" aluminum prop compares. I know it made a tremendous difference on my current boat going from Aluminum-3 to an aluminum-4.

FYI: I'm looking at getting an 87 SR DA 300 that currently has 3-blade stainless props. Cruising speed on a 4-blade prop (and holeshot) is better going to 4-blade, but I sure as hell don't want to spring for 4-blade stainless props. Just curious if there would be any improvement in upgrading (lateral-ing?) from 3-blade stainless to 4-blade aluminum...

Haven't tried 4 blade aluminums on the boat. I had thought about it a while back, but I like the performance I have with the 3 blade stainless so I can't justify buying another set of props.
