I need some help (or at least encouragement) on removing and rebedding the port sliding window on my 1989 280 Sundancer. As you can see from the photo, every time it rains, the padding just to the back of the window gets soaked. Last season, I did notice water was starting to sit inside the window track on the inside of the cabin.
Has anyone had any luck rebedding this kind of window? I'm very nervous about removing the window for fear of breaking it or not being able to get it back in correctly and causing more leaks.
What would be the best type of caulk to rebed with? Should I purchase a set of the "flocking" material to reline the window track? Any other tips/hints?
Thanks in advance.
