Honestly the best thing to do is take some measurements and pictures to some upholestry places and get a quote, you'll find a range all over the map in quality and price, since it depends on if your are having the Pachanga logo embroidered, replacing foam, any bad wood? etc. etc. I had to have my rear bench done (both bottom and back) and it cost me $1200, but that included all new wood and vinyl. you could save money by doing the side panels yourself (they are just stapled together). good luck.

It would probably be pretty hard to get anyone to quote ....accurately at least.....based upon pictures and an owners own measurements. As mentioned....there are too many variables...foam condition...wood condition.....who's going to remove and reinstall all the components etc. And I don't think too many upholsterers will trust someone elses measurements when it comes to estimating how much vinyl will be required. A check measure by the upholsterer would almost be a certainty. I know we certainly don't trust someone elses measurements when we take on a project.

I think you'll have to take the boat to someone....or have someone come to the boat for a close look to get a good quote.

When we quote....we always also throw in the caveat that it's based on what we can see and subject to change once things start getting dismantled....that's when the wood rot begins to expose itself resulting in more labor and materials.

As for cost....without seeing what you've got there....don't be surprised if you're inot a couple grand anyway.

Good luck.

Greg,
I did Old Skool a couple years ago. I had 12 yds of vinyl and 2 sheets if 1/2 inch and one of 3/4 inch marine grade plywood and about a thousand or so staples.
I used the old panels as patterns and had to completely rebuild the engine cover from scratch. (The old vinyl was all that was holding it together.)

My total cost was 800.00USD for materials. If you are just doing the panels in one color then no worrier. If multiple then you better be good with a heavy duty sewing machine or just have the pro's do it. I would think 1,200-1,500USD for panels would be in line but don't know all you want done. Have a hard quote done and with very few "add-ons" for the best results.

Good luck.
