1988 Weekender Airconditioner

My 1988 Weekender AC unit condensation drains into the forward bilge area under the cabin steps. I have heard that there is a sump basin available to divert and drain the water.

With the exception of tearing up cabin carpet and flooring it is very difficult to locate where the water/condensate line runs off the AC unit to the bilge area.

Is anyone familiar with this and added a sump basin?
