Well, I hope I don't make any 300DB or 305 owners angry, but this is a slow, stern heavy boat that struggles to stay on plane with twin v-8 power. Expect to spend a ton of money on fuel since you will be looking at 36 or so GPH for fuel burn numbers.
I just think that a 30' boat in this configuration is too stern heavy. A 345 or 340DB is a much better choice, but is still stern heavy.
If you are looking for a dock queen or a floating condo, a 305 may be ok, but if you plan to run the boat in open water, there are better choices.
