I have a 1989 340 sundancer. I just purchased this a few months ago. The generator keeps sutting down and popping fuses. It is blowing the stop fuse. If I replace the fuse as soon as I hit the start switch it blows. If I leave it for a week or so, the next time I am at the boat, I will replace the fuse and it will start. When it does starts it will run for a while even over night. Then all of a sudden it will blow a fuse. Sometimes it will shut down with out blowing the fuse, but then will start right back and run for 3 hours. I have changed the impeller 3 times, so I dont think it is an overheating problem. Here are the wiring diagrams.
