1988 30ft searay express cruiser

just bought this boat in june, works nice, has been looked after,i have a small amount of water seeping back into the toilet bowl after flushing. is this normal.its a manual toilet.also was not sure how to winterize so am going to heated indoor storage for the first year.

You might look at a rebuild kit for the toilet as a spring commissioning item. It's always easier to do it then instead of during a weekend when something breaks and it's all icky! I don't know what model you have, some are just cheaper and easier to replace! A rebuild kit for a Jabsco or Raritan runs around $60 or so. It's easy to do and much more pleasant when it hasn't been used for 6 months!! A SMALL amount of water might be OK, but your valves are probably crappy! :grin:
