1988 270 sundancer compass size replacement

Anyone out there know off hand what diameter compass I need to replace my original? I have a 1988 270 sundancer with the flush mounted compass on top of the dash. it is around 6 to 8 inches I think, but my boat is at the lake and I want to try and get one ordered. Please let me know if you can help. thanks. Steve

Did you look at SR's web site? parts book? if you have the old one take it out and see if there is a model number on it. Thats what I did then went to EBay. Cheaper

I have a 1987 268DA and mine is also mounted indash on top like you explained,I just went to measure mine and the compass is 6"
